Good to know: Ufone and Telenor are merging under PTCL
Ufone is owned by PTCL, which completed its acquisition of Telenor Pakistan on 31 December 2025. The two mobile businesses are being combined into a single larger network over time. In practice this is expected to widen coverage, but for now Ufone’s packages and codes work exactly as before. We will update this page as the integration progresses.
Two things to check before subscribing
- After-bundle billing. Once your data runs out, browsing is billed from your main balance at the base rate. Track remaining data with
*706#and re-subscribe before it expires. - Coverage where you use it. Ufone has historically been strong in urban areas. If you travel to remote regions, confirm 4G coverage there before relying on a heavy data bundle.

Is Ufone changing because of the Telenor merger?
Ufone continues to operate normally. PTCL completed the Telenor acquisition on 31 December 2025 and the two networks are being integrated over time, which is expected to improve coverage. Your number and bundles keep working throughout.
Why does my data finish so quickly?
Background app updates, auto-play video, and browsing after a bundle has expired are the usual causes. Check usage with *706# and disable auto-play on heavy apps.
